Pablo Rochat is a totally innovative and ironic artistic director who draws from the web to create fun content for brands and beyond.
Instagram’s new artists are bringing to social media content of a creative level never seen before, thus overturning the rules of the game starting from an anti-conventional approach.
Over the years he has worked for several international companies, such as Airbnb, Netflix, Tommy Hilfiger, and many others.
A unique digital artist, without exaggeration, able to play with a few images always creating something fun even from a simple emoji.
His videos go viral in a few minutes, for Apple, he baked cakes and pizzas on the Mac power supply, for Nike running he created a series of IG stories. He creates artwork for the New York Times articles and has also collaborated with the famous TV channel Adult Swim creating various ironic images, really absurd, like the famous Thomas train without its usual colors, “naked” and then censored.
Many are the brands he made fun of on Instagram. Memorable is the joke made at Burger King, where the artist began to tag the American giant in a series of photos, in a precise order. In such a way that whoever had gone to the official account, in the photos where the chain was tagged, would have seen a big penis appear.
From tap to the slider, carousel to GIF, Pablo Rochat chases the frenetic releases of new platform features, interpreting them sarcastically, transforming and creating new languages and mechanisms for storytelling and gamification.
The next step was to use user-generated content by asking users to create funny little videos themselves. Using custom stickers, Rochat gave people the chance to become little “creative hackers” by making memes.
An eclectic artist, capable of upsetting everything around him, a joker like few others.
