Far from profiles of influencers or aspiring influencers, far from photographs full of product placement and objects that we would like to have but will never have, far from images of perfect physicists, extraordinary houses and haute cuisine, far from all this, on Instagram, you can meet atypical profiles, real shelters for the eyes and soul. One of these is @plantsatthewindow.
The feed of this page, which lives thanks to users’ photographs, is a collection of images of plants at the windows. You got it right, moving away from the tendency to photograph windows through which you can see scenes of everyday life, people sitting for dinner or watching television, @plantsatthewindow focuses on all those windowsills populated by more or less small pots.
The profile is pervaded by an atmosphere of melancholy, the plants on the other side of the glass seem to crave an extra ray of sunshine, a breath of fresh air.

The leaves stuck to the glass covered with veils of condensation seem to ask us for help, they seem ready to run away. Nevertheless, standing there, almost in a cage, they are a beautiful sight; each shot shows a possible “safe place” where we can hide and catch our breath.
