With a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2020, Emma has seamlessly integrated scientific precision into her illustrations, bringing to life representations that are both detailed and fantastical.

Her distinctive style is characterized by bold colors, strong lines, and rich textures, creating an aesthetic reminiscent of the psychedelic visions of the ‘60s and ‘70s, but with a modern and fresh twist.
