Pussy Money Weed, Tommy Cash’s latest video is a hymn to diversity

We know Tommy Cash for his provocative, strong, ironic and disturbing videos.
We know him as the post-Soviet rapper, as he likes to define himself, not interested in the rap game and all that kind of things we are used to.
We know Tommy Cash as the author of videos that are considered the craziest of Youtube and Pussy Money Weed, the last one, is different but even more powerful.
With a title that is the cliché par excellence of the music genre, Cash launches on the screen diversity.

I’m just trying to show different people and different places, things that people maybe aren’t so comfortable seeing or going (to)”.

Dancers, most of them with more or less severe disabilities, dance in a desert, in a lonely environment, in a dystopian future.
Cash, who directed and did the styling of the video, puts us in front of something we know but we are not used to seeing, especially in a rap video where’ Pussy Money Weed’ is represented by something we know very well.

It’s like Kendrick Lamar, he says,’ I’m so fuckin’ sick and tired of Photoshop… Show me somethin’ natural like ass with some stretchmarks.

And so he shows something natural, something amazing.

“You can still be hot even when you are dancing on blades in a deserted zoo on Mars”
