Intense and deep, the gazes of the protagonists of Sébastien Marchand‘s shots look at you, latch onto your inner self and remain indelibly in your memory. Even when you close your eyes, their faces are there, imprinted in your mind.
Sébastien Marchand is a young French photographer with exceptional talent. After discovering photography as a teenager, around the age of 16, he has never abandoned it, continuing to study to refine his technique. He has attended several courses at the City Academy in London and has won several awards including the Fédération Française de Photographie’s prize for the best photographic series.

Sébastien specializes mainly in two genres of photography: fashion photography, which allows him to create just like an artist, playing with colours, models’ faces and clothes; and portraits

In front of the latter, one cannot remain indifferent. They are often close-ups, sometimes coloured and sometimes in black and white, where the beauty of the features is exalted to the utmost power.

But sometimes Sébastien also decides to transform himself into his subject, as he did during last spring’s lockdown, resulting in a series of self-portraits in which elegance and creativity reign supreme.
