What will the world be like in ten, fifty or a hundred years? Loek Vugs has clear ideas about it, contained in his latest short Future Thoughts.
Loek is a young Dutch designer and animator passionate about science, technology, and architecture. In his work, presented at the end of the Master of Animation at AKV St. Joost, he combined all his interests by creating a mosaic of animated illustrations characterized by his particular minimalist style.
The future created by Loek is totally linked to technologies. The city is the center of activities and every aspect of human life is influenced, or at times piloted, by an electronic apparatus, by a machine.
All that remains is to ask ourselves if technology facilitates the man or if it makes him completely useless.
