Slam Jam X And Wander, a collabo inspired by mountaineering

Slam Jam, founded by Luca Benini in 1989, and the famous Japanese brand And Wander, launched in spring/summer 2011, which combines the elegance of the Parisian brands with the mountain atmosphere of Japan, have created a limited edition collection that will be available only in the shops of the two brands.

The collection created presents clothing that refers to the colors used by Slam Jam including white, red and black, as well as the use of fabrics Polartec ®. The launch will take place tomorrow, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Slam Jam store in via Lanza 1, from 7pm to 9pm and will be accompanied by a tailor-made setting, an exclusive preview of a short film directed by Sean Vegezzi and Alpine style refreshments with the Zabov Bombardino and the Ovomaltine.

The line presents a total rock look created by drawing inspiration from the famous Italian mountaineer Reinhold Messner, originally from Bressanone who has climbed several times the highest peak of the Himalayan chain: Everest.
Thanks to Reinhold’s knowledge of the Himalayan landscape and that of the Dolomites, he was able to create a dialogue that inspired the collaboration between Slam Jam and And Wander.

Samsung new products unveiled during Galaxy Unpacked 2020

Samsung new products unveiled during Galaxy Unpacked 2020

Giulia Guido · 6 days ago · Design

Two days ago the first virtual Galaxy Unpacked event was streamed live from Korea, during which Samsung unveiled a whole new range of devices that seamlessly integrate with each other and further expand the Galaxy ecosystem.

Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, Tab S7 and S7+, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, these are the new devices presented on Wednesday, August 5, which with their clean and elegant design are designed to simplify everyday life, both at work and during leisure.

But let’s discover in more detail all the features of the new devices.

The most talked about are definitely the two new products in the Note range, the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, bookable from 5 to 20 August 2020, and both designed for productivity. In fact, all their features make you think of real computers to keep in your pocket, which allow you to connect with ease and power from anywhere.

Working away from the office and home has never been so easy and immediate, thanks also to the new features of S Pen, which offers a realistic, precise and accurate writing experience, and the features of Samsung Notes that allow you to automatically save, convert messy writing into easily readable handwriting, add notes, even in audio version, and highlight PDF documents.

In addition, thanks to the collaboration with Microsoft, you can connect your smartphone to your PC in just a few steps.

The Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G are not only designed to simplify the work, but also to give users the possibility to play more than 100 popular Xbox games like real professionals, to experiment and make photographs and videos in the highest quality thanks to an 8k camera and, in case they need a larger screen, to connect to the TV.

As the eye also wants its share, the two new Galaxy Note devices feature a simple and clean design, available in the new Mystic color scheme with a satin effect never seen before and texture that reduces the marks and imperfections.

These are two perfect products used on their own, but when paired with the other devices in the Galaxy ecosystem, they really do outdo themselves.

Among the new devices, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ – also bookable from 5 to 20 August 2020 – were presented, two versatile tablets that can replace the PC or be used as an extension of it, but also offer the possibility to get the best results in your free time, allowing you to play like real professionals.

Let’s stay in the smartphone world with the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G that combines the portability of a smartphone with the power and size of a tablet. Usable both when closed, thanks to an external screen, and when open, this new device opens the door to future new possibilities in the field of devices with flexible displays.

Samsung is not just a smartphone, which is why the latest two new additions to the Galaxy ecosystem are two accessories.

The first is the Galaxy Watch3, available from today, Friday, August 7. An elegant smartwatch that offers the widest range of health tools ever made by Samsung in fact, in addition to giving the ability to manage your routine and keep track of improvements in physical activity, allows you to keep track of your health by monitoring blood oxygen saturation and cardiovascular progress.

Finally, the second accessory is the Galaxy Buds Live – in preorder from 5 to 20 August 2020 -, a wireless headset with a minimalist design that adapts to the shape of the ear cup. But in addition to being an aesthetically pleasing object, these headsets are equipped with technology that offers an enveloping sound quality that eliminates ambient noise.

It’s impossible not to be fascinated by the technology and elegance of the new Samsung devices. Discover all the details and pre-order your favorite product HERE

Dré Wapenaar’s tents hanging from the trees

Dré Wapenaar’s tents hanging from the trees

Emanuele D'Angelo · 1 week ago · Design

If you are looking for a holiday out of the ordinary, Dutch designer Dré Wapenaar has designed drop-shaped tents suspended in trees. Hanging above the ground and accessible via a ladder, the “Tranendreef” tree tents offer a holiday in close contact with nature.

In Belgium, as in Italy, many people are deciding this year to stay close to home and invest in their country’s tourism for their summer holidays.
Thus the Borgloon area, famous for its breathtaking green landscape, has seen a great increase in bookings. Here you can stay in the open ruin of Borgloon-Heers where since 2011 you can also find a large number of open-air works of art.

The “Tranendreef” tents on the trees of Dré Wapenaar are also equipped with field furniture that allow you to sit, wash, use the toilet and barbecue designed by artist Ardie Van Bommel.

The tents are designed for maximum comfort and are not for sale to the general public because they are works of art.
Designed in the 1990s to support environmental activists trying to prevent tree felling, the tents have been exhibited in New York City and throughout Europe.

The tents can accommodate up to two adults and two children.
The costs are around 70 euros per night, they are available until September 30 then they will be removed.

Pocket, the console for playing and making music

Pocket, the console for playing and making music

Emanuele D'Angelo · 1 week ago · Design

A portable handheld with multi-video-game system. A digital audio workstation with integrated synthesizer and sequencer.
Pocket is all this, perfect for video game lovers but also and above all for those who want to make music.

With a retro design very similar to the first Gameboys designed by Nintendo, the small console designed by Analogue has a 3.5″ Gorilla® Glass LCD screen with a resolution of 1600×1440 px.

The console is also compatible with the Game Boy’s Game Boy Color & Game Boy Advance game cartridge library.
Pocket also works with cartridge adapters for other portable systems. Such as Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color and Atari Lynx.

It also has a built-in digital audio station called Nanoloop, a synthesizer and sequencer. Also designed for music creation and live performance, it creates shape, stretch and morph sounds.

Yesterday, the day of its launch, it literally sold out after just a few minutes.
