With Supreme méme Zevs returns to Hong Kong after nine years later his famous arrest, which took place in the metropolis of Southeast Asia, for smearing the facade of one of Giorgio Armani’s stores with a Chanel dripping logo.

Christophe Aguirre Schwarz aka Zevs has left a mark in the history of graffiti art with the Liquidation series, where he reproduces the logos of well-known brands from which paint leaks, creating an effect of dissolution, as if they were melting. After “melting” Chanel, Google, Coca-Cola and many others in his latest work are two the brands that he has chosen, one historian and the other very young: Louis Vuitton and Supreme. Breaking the boundary between vandalism and conceptual art, his works are a clear critique of today’s culture, based on consumerism.

The series, consisting of paintings, sculptures, murals, installations and performances will be visible until August 4 at Over The Influence gallery in Hong King.
