It is called The Gun Violence History Book and is the first prize winner in Art Direction and Branding at the D&DA Awards 2020 – the British organization that promoting excellence in design and advertising for over fifty years.
Produced by the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence (ICHV) and FCB Chicago, this publication analyzes the America’s illegal firearms problem and encourages society to change.
With 19 chapters and 853 pages, The Gun Violence History Book collects 228 years of violence and is so dense that it literally stops a bullet.
It is precisely with this powerful image that the campaign’s awareness message becomes louder and clearer. The desire is to stop a situation that has been out of control for too long and has a considerable historical and social impact.

In America, in fact, the sale of firearms is regulated at federal level, but those who want to buy them can deceive the system and take advantage of the absence of controls. Citizens are not protected and who want to commit violence acts easily have a tool to do so.
It has become fundamental to promote information, encourage controls, influence legislators, educate voters and educate the youngest.
Promote change, look the campaign and share it with everyone.
