About Slinkachu we only know the name of art, the origin of London, the year of birth, 1979, and the profession: street artist.
But, despite the few details about his person, his micro works have become famous all over the world for their irony and the importance of their function.
The little people project, this is the name of the project that has made him famous, is a set of site-specific mini works that the artist has scattered through the streets of the world with the aim of raising public awareness on two different fronts: the estrangement that we feel in large cities and the pollution with which we now live.
Its microcosms represent situations of the real world from a different point of view, underlining both our inability to realize what surrounds us, but also the little interest we have in finding intelligent solutions to problems that, day after day, become increasingly important.
“I like the idea that almost nobody sees my work because we all ignore, intentionally or not, what surrounds us in a city.”
