The Swimming Pool, the personal project of the photographer Deanna Templeton comes alive 8 years ago when, on a summer day, she photographed her husband, famous skateboarder and artist, while bathing nude in their pool.
Fascinated by the shapes which takes the body when immersed in water, decided to continue to do so with every friend who, during every summer, went swimming in their pool.
Using, as usual, only black and white or color films, the result of her photographs are beautiful and young bodies who acquire a distorted appearance because of the bubbles and ripples that occur on contact with water.
