“We are all on the stairs, my friend; some of us are going down, some us are going up!”
Mehmet Murat Ildan.
Just athletes and the health conscious love climbing and descending stairs with their human forces but it must be admitted that, looking at them from bottom to top or vice versa, it’s almost impossible not to succumb to their charms.
A very similar explanation might give to you the Hungarian photographer Balint Alovits who decided to dedicate a series of photographs, Time Machine, to the attractive force of the stairs and of its geometry: circular, triangular or rectangular, from the age of 23 years he has never stopped photographing them.
There are those who goes up, there are those who go down and some people who photographed them.
