It isn’t the first time that British artist Alex Chinneck surprises his audience and critics, in the past he did so with the project of a slanted brick house, in Margate. This new work is an incredible installation, located in Ashford, where a building drops its zip to reveal itself. His artistic mission is based on the proposal of an alternative reality and on the attempt to make the ordinary something extraordinary:

“We draw fun artworks so that everyone can live and appreciate them, I want to make everyday life extraordinary”

In this creative and apparently superficial way, “Open to the Public”  proposes itself as a fun work to watch and at the same time as a requalification of an abandoned building.
