Antonio Guerra is a Spanish visual photographer and artist, who created Ver de Acción, a conceptual project that explores the tension between man and nature, transforming the landscape. The work was created using sculptures and installations with materials already present in nature and in the surrounding area, which were then photographed to create a visual documentation.
“I pretend to question the landscape as an ideological construction and look for an approach to nature with concern about our human actions, to show this constant abuse”.
The creative process did not follow an ordered and linear ideation phase, sometimes images were first captured and documented and only afterward installations were adapted to the environment. His technique is that of optical illusion, of transformation and fusion between reality and artificial, Guerra aims to challenge the way in which we perceive our relationship with the environment.
