Stefano and Marco, better known as Van Orton, are the Italian design twins.
Supporters of a style influenced by the 80s and 90s pop culture, they began their rise into the illustration world by reinterpreting the key characters of cinema and music of the years in which they grew up.
Their style is characterized by the interweaving of strong geometric lines and very wide backgrounds of bright colors.
Their works are often compared to the church’s stained glass and have been appreciated by many artists who have entrusted them, among others, with various album covers.
When Swatch asked them to interpret, according to their style, the new Swatch X You customization service, what they created is a colorful and geometric illustration in which the watch becomes part of a much larger image.
The dial and the wristband form together with the rest of the lines the face of a beautiful abstract animal.
