Today we will talk about Federico Simonetta aka “Fred Simon“, musician, producer and dj who is based between Milan and Liguria and is attracted by black sounds, from funk to hip hop, from soul to r&b.

On May 29th his first solo EP “Elsewhere” was released.
It is an EP of six tracks, including two instrumental, released by the Canadian label Inner Ocean Records.

In “Elsewhere” there are also two prestigious collaborations with Buscrates, Amalia and Nanna.B.
A decidedly fresh EP, perfect for the upcoming summer period, clean in sound accompanied by Veezo at Rhodes and Nicola Pastori on guitar.

Exclusively for Collater.al mag has created a playlist with all his influences to enter the world of Fred Simon.

This playlist is a sort of personal passport: it expresses my identity, my attitude, my experience and my present in an alternation of emotions and moods from sofa, cabrio ride and dancefloor.
