In Volumes, Moscow artist Maxim Zhestkov‘s latest work, motion design and patterns of natural inspiration merge together to explore this combination through the rhythmic movement of billions colored particles.
During the entire video, the particles evolve inside a gallery as if they were driven by an invisible force, taking on the shape of a new digital sculpture in each frame.
The particles communicate with each other as if they were autonomous and imitate movements similar to those of the oceans, the swelling of the waves, the freedom and strength of nature.
