“Wanted”. The Parisian art gallery Perrotin has called a special treasure hunt, 20 works of art will be hidden in the nave of the Grand Palais in Paris.
“It is an unusual expedient, but uncertain times call for unorthodox ideas.”
The owner Emmanuel Perrotin explained in a statement that, “since we don’t know where we’re going, it’s almost as if anything is possible: immense, adventurous and unrepentant projects make us feel connected to the world right now.”
“20 works by Perrotin’s artists will be hidden in the empty nave of the Grand Palais. If you find one, you leave with it”.
“Wanted”, a collaboration project between the Perrotin Gallery and the Grand Palais, will take place next week between 24 and 25 October.
In order to comply with the spacing rules, the treasure hunt has been divided into 50-minute sessions, with a maximum capacity of 500 people per slot.
An incredible opportunity, to say the least, participants will be able to win twenty free works by artists such as Takashi Murakami, JR, Emily Mae Smith, Daniel Arsham and Bharti Kher.
