Wes Anderson and his partner, designer Juman Malouf are working on an installation for the Kunsthistorisches Museum which will open on 6 November. The Mummy of Spitzmaus in a sarcophagus and other treasures of the Kunsthistorisches Museum is the title of the exhibition to be held in the Austrian gallery: in the first photos we can admire a very dandy Wes, in bordeaux velvet suit; while Malouf has a floral skirt and an embroidered blouse.
The couple is having full access to any object or painting that is part of the fourteen collections that are inside the museum: from Greek to Roman art, from precious jewels to paintings and musical instruments. The curator Jasper Shapr has guaranteed maximum privacy on what they will actually do with these items:
“We can not tell you, but Wes and Juman have observed every single object of our museum and the result will be something different than what we have always done“.
