There are aspects and atmospheres that only a camera can capture. Through his lens, British photographer Sam Wright captures the places and people he lives and meets on his travels. It is the link between the where and the who that fascinates the photographer, who is able to capture it and return it to the viewer of his photographs. The series entitled West Coast is composed of a selection of shots that Sam Wright has taken in California and the result is extraordinary.
The scenery we see is far from the California we imagine, the one made by mega villas, luxury cars, and surfers. Sam’s attention is focused on aspects that we can define as more real: the cafeterias, the small detached houses, the desert and especially the people.
In our gallery, you will find a selection of photographs of the West Coast.
