With a blank sheet of paper and a pencil, Willie Hsu gives shape to his idea of the afterlife by drawing figures trying to get out of the paper.

Sometimes it doesn’t take much to create art, for example, Willie Hsu just needs a pencil and a blank sheet of paper. The artist, who calls himself an art lover, photographer and tattoo enthusiast, publishes his drawings on his Instagram profile, which is appreciated daily by a following of more than 70,000 people.

Willie Hsu is inspired by the idea of the afterlife, the dark charm that surrounds the idea of this post-mortem place. The artist returns this idea by drawing blurred figures that seem to be coming out of the paper. These silhouettes try in every way to leave the world of drawing to get to the real one, some stretching a foot, others stretching out their hand to us.

His works may remind you of something, in fact, Blackdotkime’s tattoos are very similar and if you missed them you can see them HERE
