Today we will talk about a masterpiece of action and science fiction not yet presented in the cinema, but one of the few that has not postponed the release date due to the pandemic; Warner Bros has in fact delayed the screening of a couple of its films such as Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), In the Heights (2020), Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) and The Batman (2021). After releasing a first trailer on 9 September, the film’s release was delayed and now a second trailer has been released confirming that the film will premiere on Friday 3 September, out of competition at the Venice Film Festival and will arrive in cinemas in Italy on 16 September.

The Warner Bros, Pictures and Legendary Pictures film is directed by Oscar nominee Denis Villeneuve and is nothing more than an adaptation for the big screen of Frank Herbert‘s famous best seller of the same name.

Dune is an epic adventure full of emotions that tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant young man born with a great destiny, who will have to travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure a future for his family and his people.

Epic is also the cast, we talk about Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, the Oscar-winning Javier Bardem and many others..

Villeneuve collaborates for the first time with the director of photography Greig Fraser (“Lion”, “Zero Dark Thirty”, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”) between the landscapes of Hungary and Jordan, places also familiar to the French photographer Clément Chapillon.

“Promise me a Land” is the name of his photographic series that offers a new and original vision of Israel and Palestine in which, at the center of artistic research, there is not the political situation and tensions, but the close bond between people and the land in which they live, regardless of their creed and nationality.
