On April 5th, Cj Hendry will unveil an exhibition in Nevada – precisely at the Sandy Valley Ranch. It’s called Public Pool and it’s an immersive homage to Las Vegas hotel parties. For the occasion, the artist has designed a 50-meter pool open to everyone for free. The result will be an installation aiming to blend kitsch and glamour in the middle of the desert, showcasing Cj’s creative force, always engaged in attention-grabbing projects. Let’s delve into some details.

Cj Hendry’s Installation in Nevada
Cj Hendry’s skill lies in merging storytelling with her approach to art, gathering numerous spectators worldwide. This seems to be repeated in this project, with the release of limited-edition objects and illustrations available on her website from April 7th. It’s a decidedly more commercial approach to the art world, which in a way blurs the boundaries between art, design, and objectification. Even on her Instagram profile, Cj Hendry and her team are documenting the setup process of this exhibition in the middle of the desert, waiting to be discovered.

The immersive installation invites visitors to discover a real fantasy oasis, where the pop component for which Cj Hendry has become famous is not lacking. Elements that we can definitely describe as extravagant and out of context – but no less entertaining – in the midst of the desert. Stylized flowers that almost seem vacuum-sealed and the yet-to-be-unveiled pool project present us with the potential of one of Cj’s most intriguing projects yet.
