French designer duo Affiches Artifices has created a series of posters that we wouldn’t exaggerate to call explosive. The 12 posters are not just drawings or beautiful graphic illustrations, but a fireworks display, which catches fire once it comes into contact with a flame.
At first glance, the design created looks just like a cross between curved and straight geometric lines, forming designs that resemble stylized multi-armed candelabra. The characteristic of these drawings, however, is that the lines are actually made with a special ink, created in the laboratory by Marion Pinaffo and Raphaël Pluvinage. The match thus triggers a controlled explosion and the fire runs along the pattern drawn by the artists, creating a graphic choreography.

To create the posters, Affiches Artifices used a special fireproof paper, so that the work does not burn completely, but remains, even after the explosion, the design of the lines, this time defused.
A very interesting project, to evaluate only the point where to hang it on the wall, it might be better to keep it away from the fireplace at home.
