After the first edition in 2018, the second in 2019 themed “Breaking Stereotypes” and last year’s spin-off Go FeST, FeST – The Festival of TV Series is ready to return at the end of September with unmissable news.
The theme chosen for this third edition is “Crafting Worlds“, which invites us to reflect on the crafting of narrative worlds, be they fantastic or real, that represent our world and our contemporaneity. At a time when, due to the pandemic, we are not only called upon to rethink our present, but also have the opportunity to change it in order to build a better future, FeST invites us to make this assessment through the analysis of TV series, which manage to mirror the reality in which they are made.
Supporting these three days of meetings, interviews, previews and much more will be some of the biggest national and international broadcasters and entertainment services such as Amazon Prime Video, De Agostini Editore, Discovery+, Disney+, Mediaset, Netflix, Rai Fiction, Sky, ViacomCBS Networks Italia.
Moreover, as in the second edition, Triennale Milano is once again a partner of FeST, offering the spaces of the Triennale Milano Teatro, the Agora room and the garden.
The real novelty of the third edition, however, are definitely the Serial Awards: on Sunday 26 September, at the end of the event, these prizes entirely dedicated to the Italian TV series will be awarded. The winners will be voted by an exceptional jury presided by Marina Perri, FeST artistic director, and thanks to NeN, the main partner of the event, the audience will be able to give its vote for a special category.
