The open spaces of Patagonia and the indispensable contact established with nature prompted photographer Gastón Fournier to devote much of his life to exploring the world. A psychologist by profession at the National University of Rosario, Fournier set out from Argentina, reaching 49 states around the world, traveling to discover the different cultures and a variety of landscape, language and social backgrounds that make his shots a true atlas capable of recounting the beauty of the world as seen through the photographic lens.
For Gastón Fournier, photography is the universal language of art, and from Buenos Aires to Bali, via India and Uganda, he has tried to tell that there are no borders of the Earth, capturing great landscapes, folk ceremonies, and straight looks at the camera.
Photo books published over the years and numerous awards are just confirmation of Fournier’s incredible work, which you can discover on the artist’s official website and his Instagram profile.

Gastón Fournier’s photographs will be exhibited at the group exhibition ImageNation in New York, 10-12 March 2023, curated by Martin Vegas.
