We know that every graffiti and tag we see in the walls of our cities is not destined to remain there forever. Some of them are eliminated to maintain a simple urban decoration, others because they are offensive, but each one of them, even if deleted, will preserve history and a completely unique romanticism.

There are complex and defined rules to be followed in street art. Street art and graffiti do not remain forever but have a very determined meaning. Usually, many artists erase the tags of their colleagues, but not only that, some rub the works just for the rules of accounts, or others create crossovers over finished works. It’s a story that repeats itself, at Banksy it happened even last week, we can define it as a habitual practice because in the walls every aesthetic form is just passing through.

Today there are also social networks that help to spread curiosity around this phenomenon. Graffiti Removals, the Instagram page now has 11 thousand followers, photo after photo, it shows how street art changes according to the weather and tries to bring to light what was there before and that you can barely see today.

Many writings or drawings on the walls are badly erased so that the result is funny many times. Windows and walls of different colors border on each other, new writings overwrite each other as if it were a vicious circle.
The garbage collectors don’t seem to be enough either, who in turn unwittingly produce other marks or scribbles while erasing writing to hide something.
