It was July 20, 1969, when the Apollo 11 tailgate opened and Neil Armstrong took his first steps on the lunar surface. This year, exactly fifty years after that, LEGO decided to celebrate one of the historical events that influenced the contemporaneity with NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander, a set of just over 1000 pieces of the spacecraft.

With a size of 20x22x20, this new release will be perfect to display at home on shelves and furniture and will certainly make all your guests jealous.

Thanks to the collaboration of the LEGO team with NAS technicians, this piece copies in all respects the original, from the landing panels and platforms to the staircase to the lunar surface, to two small astronauts at the flag.

If you weren’t convinced by the set of Stranger Things because you’re not a fan of the TV series or even of the Volkswagen Camper, maybe this would be for you.

NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander will be available in stores and online from June 1, 2019.
