The artistic collective SBAGLIATO was born in Rome in 2011 with the desire to change the perception of space by destroying the barriers imposed by the architecture that compose it.
The group’s installations are the result of the synergy between different arts, including graphics, photography, collage and architecture, which are used to create the oversized posters that they use to communicate their ideas in the urban context.
MACROSOMIA, the last site-specific intervention realized within the Cufù urban art festival in Castrofilippo, is strongly influenced by Bernini’s Fountain of Four Rivers and the Baroque style.
The giant, divided on the facades of six different popular buildings of Castrofilippo, represents the typical restlessness of our times and the search for a new integrity that brings greater fullness.
