Argentine and surrealist, Matias Alonso Rovelli – born in 1993 – portrays magical sunsets, even before romantic. Nature, in the form of moon, sea and clouds, is painted in pink shades. Purple skies host every moon phase, meeting with the best water ability, transformation. 

In these shots is expressed an irrational reality, maybe a better one, surely dreamy. The references to Magritte, one of the greatest exponents of Surrealism, are not a coincidence. Like him, even the young Argentine photographer has a particular passion for the clouds: subjected to constant change, they are famous to become what our imagination thinks they are. It’s as if they were giving rope to our thoughts, representing in itself a snapshot. 

Matias’ sensitivity adds a fairy-tale, delicate touch to the landscapes.
