A pigeon can become a VIP and an ice cream fallen on the asphalt can be treated as the body of a crime, just a pinch of imagination and Michael Pederson has to sell. Michael, better known as Miguel Marquez Outside, creates small but beautiful installations inspired by what he finds on the street and using it as an art gallery.
With a little imagination and a few essential objects, he can transform normal things, like a hole in the wall or a staircase, into something extraordinary.
They are certainly works that will make you smile, but this is not the only objective of Miguel Marquez Outside. The artist, in fact, takes the opportunity to address issues such as nature conservation, from forests to small tufts of grass that arise at the foot of the sidewalks. For example, his latest series of three works, “Urban Weed Award”, focused on this topic.
