Ugliness according to digital artist Mr Bumpy

An interesting and undiscovered digital artist, Mr Bumpy’s motto is “bumpy skin & poor life habits“, which would be enough to describe both the forms of his works and the themes he deals with. With his works, the artist is searching for a new concept of beauty, which starts from the representation of these poor life habits and the irregularity of the characters he represents, human but strangely deformed.
Mr Bumpy says that true beauty is inner beauty, and he does not state this as in the most predictable motivational greeting-card phrases, but by working in the opposite direction, creating subjects that emphasise the bumps on their faces, toothless mouths and bony, almost skeletal hands.
Looking at the projects there is no room for doubt as to what ideal of un-beautifulness Mr Bumpy seeks, uniting all the scenes and portraits is a certain tranquillity of the characters. The visual representation of the confidence and security with which one must love one’s flaws, edges and imperfections. These details are precisely a form of uniqueness according to the artist, not a limitation to the possibility of getting to know these subjects.
