Street artist and activist Pascal Boyart has made his last work on the Parisian streets, not a classic mural but an artwork that presents a special puzzle containing 0.26 BTC (about $ 1,000 USD). The mural was created in honor of the tenth anniversary of Bitcoin Genesis block, and at the same time tributed the Yellow Vest who currently occupy the French capital. Just last week, protesters announced that they would try to destabilize the local financial system.
The project entitled “La Liberté Guidant le Peuple” (Liberty Guiding the People) inspired by the eponymous oil painting by Eugène Delacroix, was sponsored by the British entrepreneur and investor Alistair Milne and included an active QR code through which viewers could donate directly to the artist.
Blockchain Technology Engineer Antoine Giver, went on Twitter on January 13 to announce that he had solved the Boyart puzzle, winning the 0.26 BTC prize. Later the mystery was unveiled by Pascal himself, revealing that the puzzle had to be illuminated by a black light to discover hidden messages and other Bitcoin codes.
