Starting today, December 5, 2024, The Rainbow Over Florence, a solo photography exhibition by Piero Percoco, opens at Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence. Curated by C41, the exhibition will be on view until February 2, 2025, in the B11 building of the historic former cigar factory.

The Return of Piero Percoco and The Rainbow is Underestimated
Piero Percoco, an internationally renowned photographer known for his Instagram project The Rainbow is Underestimated (anche we talked about it here), captures everyday life through a unique lens, using his iPhone. This exhibition marks the second edition of his work, enriched with new pieces exploring themes of nature and skies.

The showcase features 80 photographs from his 2019 book, The Rainbow is Underestimated, alongside new series dedicated to fireworks and childhood. Installations, video works, and sound systems make the exhibition even more immersive, conveying the artist’s signature irony and distinctive aesthetic, where the absurd and the beauty of everyday life take center stage.

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday, with free admission at Via delle Cascine 35. In our opinion, it’s an unmissable opportunity to discover the extraordinary beauty hidden in simplicity.
