The simple drawings of Worry Lines

-
Giulia Pacciardi

We know about her that she is a woman, that she hasn’t studied to become an illustrator, that her works are characterized by simple lines and neckless characters, but also and above all that the themes she addresses are anything but irrelevant.

Worry Lines, this is the name that the artist has decided to use to sign her illustrations, publishes on her Instagram profile at least one work a day that revolves around topics such as mental health, self-care, relationships, the crisis related to climate change and the emotions that all these issues involved.

The way she does it is always delicate, she uses that rather clumsy and tender character, but also lots of ironic metaphors and puns that get straight to the point without stinging.
Her works speak to adults as they speak to children, with the aim of raising awareness of current issues of social relevance to the widest possible audience.
