The physical limits and the limits of imagination. Maybe it’s on this simple contrast that the French artist and photographer Maia Flore based part of her work, and in particular the Sleep Elevations project.
Her young women levitate asleep, carried aloft by different objects figment of their imagination. As in a perfect representation of the stages of sleep, the bodies are lifted, without resistance, showing the lightness of the dream world towards which they move.
