After Zazzarro Otto’s exhibition, ArtNoble will inaugurate Stratificazioni on June 15th, a collective exhibition involving Jermay Michael Gabriel, Délio Jasse, Muna Mussie, Jim C. Nedd e Georges Senga, five international artists who convey a story through their artistic practice. The underlying theme of this exhibition is the desire to surpass the aesthetic level and look beyond. Janine Gaëlle Dieudji‘s critical text explores the concept of stratification, both clarifying the presence of multiple layers and connecting them.
The work of research, studying traditions and history, archiving, and collecting testimonies lays the foundation for this exhibition, guiding the viewer to not settle for appearances but to understand the hidden dynamics beneath the surface. Matthew Noble and Alice Previtali present this exhibition as part of their ongoing journey in contemporary art, with a project initiated in London in 2018 that focuses on promoting emerging artists from any background. The project later settled in Milan, where the gallery came to life in the semi-basement spaces of a former warehouse near Lambrate. The exhibition will be open for visitation until July 26th at Via Ponte di Legno, 9, in Milan.
Here is a glimpse into the research of the artists participating in the collective exhibition.
