Anthony Burrill, an English artist, creative and graphic designer, has recently completed his largest artwork ever. Entitled “You&Me, Me&You”, it is located on the sidewall of a historic building in Leeds and is almost 27 meters high.

Anthony Burrill is known for his simple and impactful graphics, he has a linear and essential typographic style and always tries to convey powerful and positive messages in his work. His works are exhibited in numerous galleries around the world from the V&A Museum in London to the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York.
On this latest occasion the artist has taken on a unique and unprecedented project: he has created a gigantic black and white mural in the very city where he studied graphic design as a boy.

The creation of “You&Me, Me&You” was made possible by the combination of the creative mind of Anthony Burrill, the artistic curatorship of Laura Wellington and her Good Company project, the production of multidisciplinary studio Bread Collective and the funding and support of local real estate company King & Co.

The grandiose street art project was conceived in 2019 and completed just a few days ago, but it couldn’t be more topical. “You&Me, Me&You” conveys a strong message of love and togetherness and, even though it was imagined before the turbulent events of the last 12 months, it fits perfectly with the historical moment we are living in.

Anthony Burrill has also printed a special edition of the artwork in poster format, which can be purchased directly from the artist’s web store.
