With his exhibition 'Respira,' Alvaanq expresses the effect of a deep breath: touching the depth of one's own essence.

The worst nightmare of a creative? Being confined to a box, a definition that often turns into a cage. How to avoid this from happening? Never betray your own essence and never forget where you come from, and that is exactly what Alvaanq has done with his latest exhibition.

Alvaanq, whose real name is Alvaro Javier Cecchetti, is currently a Creative & Art Director who simultaneously continues to pursue an individual artistic journey that allows him to unleash everything that is part of his background, consisting of rhythm, graphics, and street art. As proof of this, on April 29th, Alvaanq presented “Respira,” his first solo exhibition, produced by Waamoz and exclusively communicated by Collater.al. He chose not to do it in a random place, but in Los Angeles, at the Pauhaus exhibition space, located at 5235 Melrose Avenue.

In the presence of friends and onlookers, the artist unveiled 8 new works, including prints and hand-painted canvases. Additionally, Alvaanq performed a live demonstration, allowing the audience to follow him in the process of creating a canvas and to discover his technique in depth. As curator Andrea Lazzari commented, “Through ‘Respira,’ Alvaanq expresses the effect of a deep breath: touching the depth of one’s own essence.”
