Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, also known as Mert and Marcus, are two of the most innovative fashion photographers of the last 30 years.

Since their first cover on Dazed and Confused in 1997, they have been the authors of some of the most extraordinary and iconic images in contemporary glam fashion. A photographic style that combined refinement and sensuality, glossy images, dizzying perspectives, saturated colors or a sharp and contrasting black and white. Their work, the incredible use of color and light, often hyper-realistic, has been published in the most important magazines in the world, including the American, French, Italian and British editions of Vogue, W, Document Journal, Self Service, Interview , LOVE, Vanity Fair and Print Publication among others.

They directed music videos for Madonna and Nicki Minaj and shot advertising campaigns for many major luxury brands, including Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, Gucci, Miu Miu, Versace, Lancome, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton.

Nude photography for them is the composition of human form and desire. Not the body as a sculpture or the bare skin as flesh. But a combination of precisely captured details to tell the power of the human body.
