Like a bird’s flight, photographer Pham Huy Trung flew over Vietnam during the season when grass, tea plants and flowers have been harvested for centuries, showing the beauty of the bond between man and nature.
In fact, the aerial series is a testament to human activities along the rivers and in the fields of the Asian nation, showing both a record of anthropological value and the poetic beauty of nature’s colors.
The view from above offers patterns and geometries that are impossible to grasp with the naked eye, the lined boats and bundles of freshly cut grasses seem set up as if in a theater set, instead they are the result of customs passed down each year. Indeed, the beauty of the shots also lies in the way the intervention of man is highlighted, who does not overpower nature with his gestures but is at its complete service, adapting to the natural cycle.
