How much time wasted looking for the cooking time on pasta packs!
Who has never happened in the evening, while checking that the water in the pot doesn’t overflow, that the sauce in the pan doesn’t stick, that the washing machine is finished, while reading messages on Whatsapp, looking at Instagram photos, scrolling through e-mails and taking a look at the weather the next day, to suddenly have to stop everything because you can’t find the cooking time of the pasta?!
Admit it, sometimes the idea of throwing it in the water and waiting until, driven by intuition, you decide to drain it.
Well, you will be pleased to know that this frustration is not only yours, but it unites hundreds, indeed thousands of people, including the creative people of the Turin-based agency Hub09 who at the beginning of the month have started a real protest movement against the cooking instructions written too small.
MGM – Movimento Grandi Minuti is clamoring for all pasta companies to write these blessed indications in larger and more visible sizes and, while there, Hub09 has rethought the packaging of some of the most famous brands by putting the cooking time in cubic characters.
Right from the start, this initiative has gathered thousands of followers and has not gone unnoticed even by companies. Pasta Garofalo responded to the request of the Movimento Grandi Minuti with a post on Instagram: “Pasta Garofalo thinks of everyone… Stay Tuned!“.
