Sebastian Errazuriz is a Chilean-born artist and designer from New York, about whom we had previously spoken here, has returned with a surprising new work: it is the modern version of the iconic Roman Pantheon.

The sculptures, which have been printed in 3D, have as their protagonists the most influential politicians and men of power of our time as Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Donald Trump and many others. Sebastian’s work tries to analyze the potential repercussions of technology on today’s society: the artist has spent the last five years following the impact of technology on the economy, on social, on geopolitics, on nano robotics and on biotechnology.

As expected in the future, 50% of current works will be replaced by automation in the next decade, creating a wave of global conflicts: imagined as a warning, the beginning of the end presents sculptures representing the new mythology of the characters who are shaping our future.

The beginning of the end is the name of Sebastian Errazuriz’s exhibition curated by James Salomon, which will be open from May 1 to May 24 at the Elizabeth Collective in New York.
