Few things make us feel as free as the sensation of the waves on the skin and the sand caressing our bodies, and Kim Akrich knows it.
Kim Akrich is a French photographer based in Paris, but who has lived for some years travelling to exotic places and living in places like Tahiti and Bora Bora. It is from these places and their atmosphere that she has been inspired to create some of her most iconic shots.
The white beaches and turquoise sea provide the backdrop and frame for the bodies of young girls who are free to show themselves as they are, without veils and without filters. Kim plays with simplicity, so much so that sometimes all she needs is warm sunlight to create the perfect shot. At other times, she inserts elements that emphasise the beauty of the forms, such as flowers on the skin or glitter.
For almost ten years now, Kim has been captivating her audience with stunning photos of women in their most natural form and bringing out their feminine side.
