Yenata is a Korean photographer who produces strongly perturbing and provocative NSFW images. Her shots have been published on Playboy. Yenata is a Korean photographer who started shooting as a hobby when she graduated in fashion design from the university. Since 2016, however, she has been completely focused on photography and shooting her friends with provocative images that give us an overview of the carefree nature of modern Korean youth.

Despite being an emerging talent, the artist has already published in Nylon and Playboy. Yenata’s unique NSFW style explores the intense contrasts between the shades of red and black and the unshakable looks of her subjects that leave a lasting impression on viewers:

«I like strong moods. It’s really simple, but strong. Most of the subjects are friends that I often shoot naturally, as if it were a game».

Yenata reveals the sensual face of Korean youth without embarrassment, but as if it were part of everyday life. Continuing her passion for fashion, Yenata has worked with designers such as Rei Kawakubo and Vivienne Westwood, creating original works.

“I’m usually inspired by myself, my friends, music, movies, dreams and nature; everything. I remember and record these things to photograph”.

Although Yenata may be young, she is definitely on the rise not only in her home country, South Korea but also internationally. The perturbing and allusive images are part of a general and sexualized view of the fashion world, the world of young people and the primordial expression of creativity.
