The last time he went back there only symbolically, this time street artist INTI really went back to Chile to complete his latest work.
And as always his works with warm colors have great meaning, even this time the objects portrayed are not random.
Entitled “El TAMARUGO” he made this work for the project “Iquique En Color Es” organized by Nomadesert.
The mural features a tree “Tamarugo” which is a species found mainly in northern Chile. It has a special feature, not common to all, manages to survive in one of the driest places on the planet, the Atacama Desert.
The survival capacity of this tree has been an inspiration to the communities that inhabit these places since ancient times. A true symbol of life and resistance to the almost impossible conditions in which it manages to live.
It has also been an inspiration for the Chilean street artist who, with his vibrant colors, is always ready to enchant us, transporting the beauty of one of the most complex species of the Chilean territory in one of his facades.
